About Me

I graduated from Texas Christian University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2007, and began my career as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). There, I fell in love with caring for babies, and quickly learned that caring for baby meant caring for mom as well.

I have 3 babies of my own, and I homeschool by day and help feed babies by night, so to speak. I love helping all mothers meet their breastfeeding goals.

Abbreviated Resume

8 years working as a staff nurse in Level III NICUs

1 year as a Nurse Coordinator in a High Risk OBGYN/Center for Advanced Fetal Care office

1 year as a postpartum home-visit nurse for a Midwife-led Birth Center

Then in 2015, I found a dream job working as a lactation consultant for a local hospital where I got to work on the postpartum unit and in the NICU

In 2016, I started this home visit lactation consultant business and in 2019, I had enough clients that I was able to step down from hospital work and focus solely on private practice
